Outlining has always been kind of a crutch for me. You're right, I should try to tone it down a bit. Hooray for digital postpro, making everything easier!

These just keep getting better and better! The fact that you're shading them from your imagination is even more impressive.

One thought – I'm not sure whether it's part of the style you're going for, but since you're shading anyway you might experiment with using contrasting values to get rid of some of the outlining. Especially on page 35 I think the outline on his face flattens things out a bit.

Either way, great work!

The detail on that violin is remarkable (and that clenching robot hand!)! It's funny how subtle the color is in the first two, but still it makes these even more interesting. That spaceship is stunning! Those nebula are so swirly and yet still particle-y and clumpy! I like them. (It's nice, I like it!)

These are wonderful! Wow. The expressions are fantastic! And those aliens are so cute. I like how they stand around and make those happy awe faces. I wish I knew some!

The last one is really funny! The first, third and fourth I like a lot too. The second too, especially for her expression, for those eyebrows! I can't get over the lighting either, especially in the third and fourth. It's exciting that you post these!

I'm astounded by page 10! (the girl ascending the stairs).

I also wanted to note that I thought it was kind of funny for her to be trying to get up that big rock with a violin in one hand and seemingly no good place to grip, and only an alien without arms to potentially help her up. :p I like it though! Those aliens look like such fun. I wish I could have had alien friends like that.

I see ole Kindler again too. I guess now I'm watching out for him though. Nice work on the robot himself too! It seems like it'd be difficult to draw robot arms that are plausibly playing a violin.

Great work on all of these (including the ones I didn't mention)! I can't wait to see these all together.
