These just keep getting better and better! The fact that you're shading them from your imagination is even more impressive.
One thought – I'm not sure whether it's part of the style you're going for, but since you're shading anyway you might experiment with using contrasting values to get rid of some of the outlining. Especially on page 35 I think the outline on his face flattens things out a bit.
Outlining has always been kind of a crutch for me. You're right, I should try to tone it down a bit. Hooray for digital postpro, making everything easier!
