What is Realm? Realm is a humorous epic-fantasy adventure comic. Expect typical epic fantasy tropes and a good deal of silliness.
Is Realm a webcomic?
Yes and no. It is available to be read online, but my intent is to create a book-length work with a clear beginning and end. Current calculations suggest that it will run to about 400 pages.
When can I expect to see more Realm?
Not for a while, I'm afraid. Realm is not published on a regular schedule at this time, and I'm currently working on completing the full storyline in thumbnail form, so it will probably be over a year before Chapter 2 appears online.
I am confused by the chapter numbering system.
Me too! Here's the deal: The print editions consider the Prologue to be "Chapter 1" because I don't want people to think that the real Chapter 1 is the first volume if they should happen to find it by itself. Thus, what is Chapter 1 online and will be Chapter 1 in a final completed volume is called Chapter 2 when printed individually. This will hold true for other chapters as well.
Realm print editions?
Yeah, they're available from IndyPlanet. Look here. Do check them out, as Realm really is meant to be seen on paper. It looks better that way.
How is Realm drawn? Hunt 100 crowquill pens on bristol board.
I am tired of waiting for more Realm, do you have another fine comic I can read?
Sure, check out Sunrise. It's not very funny though.
