The End of an Era

Old Avatar

Well, after using the above image as my online avatar for years, I’ve decided it’s finally time to change. It’s nothing against you personally, Rustosaurus the Mondrian Fan… I still think you’re quite charming, actually. I just don’t feel that you really represent me all that well anymore, especially since redesigns to the website have made it more and more distant from your example. So, with a heavy heart and a sense of tradition violated, I now begin the transition to the following:

The Rustosaurus is dead! Long live the Rustosaurus!

Website revisions ahoy!

May 2nd, 2010

As you may have already noticed, the website has undergone significant overhaul, this blog being one of the new additions. A complete listing of the changes is as follows:

  • Banner now features my name instead of “Airborne Cactus”
  • New version of the index page featuring the Magenta Robot (thinking about me, no less) and “What’s New” and “What’s Keen” headers.
  • New version of the portfolio which allows viewers to look at a lot of good art all at once, more like the way one looks at a physical portfolio. The old portfolios have been merged into the extended portfolio. There’s also some new stuff in both, so be sure to take a look.
  • Look at some samples from my sketchbooks.
  • This blog now exists. What will I write on it? Only time will tell.

In the near future I intend to modify the whois page.

That is the story of the page revisions as it stands right now. Look around, make yourself at home.
