I ink Sunrise with sumi ink that I have to prepare (by grinding it out of ink sticks) for each session. Anyone who’s worked with this stuff will tell you that it works a little bit differently every time. On this page it worked beautifully, flowing smoothly and easily onto the page in nice, thick blacks. It was a pleasure.

Then I had to beat my scanner into submission before it would digitize it. Art is hard.

Taken out of context, a doctor saying “I won’t pretend to know what’s wrong” sounds very bad.
