I hate drawing these Neil-and-Lila pages (together,  those two make me sick) but I think this one turned out rather nicely,  in terms of both art and writing.

Regarding Issue 6 I don’t have a whole lot to say.  The more I get into the swing of the comic,  the less likely it is that each issue introduces something new and special to the form.  I will say,  however,  that this issue ropes in some themes from previous issues more than any have in the past.  As you can see,  this page references issues 3 and 5.  More to come.

They sure didn’t waste their time preparing this cut.

Hey,  look!  The crew’s receiving a visit from Charles Darwin!  Oh,  wait.  Actually it’s that Russian doctor who you probably don’t remember because we haven’t seen him since Issue 3.  I feel bad about introducing this character,  because I thought he would be useful but so far there’s been little or nothing for him to do.  Eventually  I will find a way to utilize him better.  Maybe the next issue will give him some time in the limelight.

It’s also interesting to note that Raven hasn’t appeared since this page in Issue 4.

Welcome to Issue 5!  As you can see,  Kindler is on the first page again.  He’s the only character who’s appeared on the first page of every issue.  Whether he’ll be able to maintain that trend remains to be seen.

After the depressing Issue 3 and the high stakes of Issue 4,  I decided to make this issue be more lighthearted.  Issue 5 is going to be fast and funny,  so don’t touch that dial!
