Issue 5 – Page 12 | Choose Your Weapon

For anyone who’s keeping track,  this “lighthearted” issue of Sunrise has so far included: profanity,  violent death,  disobedience of direct orders,  breaches of contract,  coercion,  and sabotage.  Uproarious!

On a side note,  I love the dramatic shading as I  have here in the last panel,  and I don’t get a chance to use it nearly often enough.

Mr. Allie, I believe we need to have a talk about the meaning of the word "lighthearted"….

Those shadows are great in the last panel! (I was going to comment on the dramatic shading anyway). The close-up of the kliking too. And Albee's sinister smile! In the fourth panel she almost seems like a battle-frenzied leader rallying her troops. I like how she cuts into battle-mode so unexpectedly, considering how tamely she first says "wire cutters". Uproarious!
