Sunrise

I know in Issue 1 I pretty definitively stated that Sunrise takes place during the Prohibition (the brief period in US history when alcohol was illegal),  so the continuity cops are probably raising an eyebrow here.   Here’s what’s going on:  1. They’re flying over the Gulf of Mexico,  so they’re beyond US jurisdiction,  and 2. the Prohibition was notoriously ineffective.  Despite the laws,  alcohol consumption was still very common.  So I don’t think that it’s that unlikely that one or two of Kindler’s stupid rich friends would smuggle a few cases of wine on board.  (Kindler’s not flying off the handle because,  as I said,  they’re not on US soil,  and he’s trying to impress these guys.  Also,  of course,  he’s known to be a bit of a hypocrite in this area.)
