Recently, while trying to get Sunrise to show up on Google (without luck, I should add) I discovered a different comic called Sunrise. Here’s the link. Normally I avoid manga-style comics, but I felt obliged to read this one simply because they were using the same title. I found it to be nothing like my own Sunrise, although it does have a bizarre connection in that it also has an airship in it. The other Sunrise debuted a few months after this one, so I suppose there is some possibility that they saw mine first, but I doubt it. Since I read the whole thing, and because I want to be on good terms with these guys, I’m going to offer a couple bits of critique here. First of all: the writing seems okay, but I admit I’m finding the story a bit confusing. I’m not really sure where this is all supposed to take place. I don’t understand the whole catgirl thing, but that may have to do with the fact that I don’t read any manga. The art on a whole has room for improvement. The artist appears to be capable but I get the feeling that he rushes a bit too much sometimes. With some practice it could rise to higher levels. So that’s my take on your comic, guys. I wish the best of luck to you, and I hope to remain on good terms with you, if only because you found Comixpedia before I did.
