Hello everyone, I hope you’re all having a good time getting ready for Christmas or the holiday of your choice. I don’t really have anything to say, but I feel obliged to post something if only because I use this news column so rarely, and it’s making me look bad.
Okay, first of all: there may not be a page this week. I’m getting ready for finals (or trying to make a show of doing so at the very least) and as such I may not have time to get one out. I also lost a lot of time working on the comic because about two weeks ago my laptop went kaput (thanks for nothing, Lenovo) thus tying up several rather critical planning files for two weeks while I waited for a hard drive adapter to come in the mail. (The files have now been safely recovered.) In summation, maybe no comics this week, but after this week I hope to get back to the twice-weekly schedule for a little while. Fun!
Second: Printed issues of Shakedown are available from Lulu and make nifty gifts for friends and enemies. You can give them away or drop hints and hope people give them to you. Both options are very fun. Or, if you’d prefer a printed copy of Yucateca, let me know and I’ll try to whip one together on short notice. Things to remember seeing as we are approaching the birthday of both Newton and Jesus (recognized).
Third: Webcomics are really cool. Here are a few of my favorites, which you might like as well. What’s that you say? You have one, too? Well tell me about it, and I’ll put it up on the Link Board! I still refuse to believe that none of you people have anything interesting to show, considering what intelligent people you must be.
BONUS SUMMATION! 1. Probably no page this week. Probably extra pages soon. 2. Buy Shakedown. 3. Webcomics=exciting. You don’t use the Link Board.
